The race consisted of eight stages, starting on 9 September in Ipswich, and finishing on 16 September in Guildford. The race was part of the 2012 UCI Europe Tour, and was categorised by the UCI as a 2.1 category race. The 12th edition of the Tour of Worcester sees major changes to the route after the problems due to the floods in 2019. We still plan to follow parts of the old Tour of Britain route as usual incorporating the tough climbs from all those years ago.
